A friend of mine today decided to take a massive departure from his norm in cars. He was looking for a fox body mustang, and ended up purchasing what is probably one of the cleanest and more amazingly stock 1990 Civic SI hatchback. The car hadn’t been registered or inspected in a year and a half. We don’t think it was driven much either. We installed new spark plugs, new air filter, new battery, and put fresh gas in it. It’s driving really nice. Tomorrow will be registration, oil change, and inspection. We’re already working on plans after that is complete. Quick list of stuff coming soon… change the radio, install new speakers, order and install a short shifter. After that, it’s on to exhaust and suspension as the 158K miles make it a little softer than we like. Stay tuned for pics and updates.
